Michael Benson

Our principal is a law graduate of University College Dublin. He qualified as a solicitor in the Republic of Ireland in 1985 and in England & Wales in 1991.

With 10 years experience as a solicitor in the City of London, working both in private practice and in-house with KPMG, Michael is fully conversant with the personal qualities and technical skills which his clients are searching for in prospective candidates.

In 1995, Michael was invited to lead the legal search department at Clive & Stokes International, an independent UK firm of executive search consultants. Through his success in this competitive arena, Michael has developed a keen understanding of the marketplace for legal services and the mechanics of the recruitment business.

Recognising the need for a legal recruitment specialist with the ability to service the requirements of Irish-based law firms and businesses, Michael returned to Ireland in November 1997 to establish Benson & Associates' Dublin office.
